Hooding of Master's CandidatesJune 20, 2008Friday, 6:00 pm In addition to the cap and gown, recipients of masters degrees wear a hood symbolizing the attainment of a graduate degree. The hooding ceremony honors the masters candidates and signifies academic continuity as mentors hood their former students. All masters candidates are invited to participate. Family and friends are welcome, but please be aware that space is limited. Graduates should wear their caps and gowns and bring their hoods. | |||||||
