Binford Reading SeriesFebruary 18, 2010Thursday, 7:15 pm Opening Reception: 7:15-7:45 pm Fiction writer Debra Spark will read from her latest novel . Spark teaches creative writing at Colby College in Maine and is an award-winning author of three novels: Coconuts for the Saint, The Ghost of Bridgetown, and Good for the Jews. Shes also published a book of craft essays, titled, Curious Attractions: Essays on Fiction Writing. Prior to Spark's reading, Erin Osborne, Marylhurst creative writing student, will read from her recent work. The evening includes a free raffle for two copies of Debra Spark's new novel, Good for the Jews. Sponsored by the Thomas E.
