Cultural Studies emerged as a way to understand these rapid changes – to ask and answer the relevant and vital questions of our time.

The Cultural Studies faculty are dedicated scholars who work in such diverse fields as philosophy, cultural theory, social history, gender studies, film, media, comparative literature and sociology. They are actively engaged and conversant in the rapidly evolving nature of this relatively new field.
