The English Literature & Writing Department at Marylhurst University

The English Literature & Writing Department provides students with a broad-based exposure to and understanding of different types of writing, including a critical awareness of the history of literature in the English language; a practitioner’s knowledge of professional, journalistic or creative writing; and insight into the imaginative processes which are the basis of all writing.
