Literature Concentration
Students majoring in English Literature & Writing with a concentration in Literature will:
- Acquire a sense of literary history that includes a timeline of literary movements and authors;
- Identify the contemporary shifts in the canon of American, British and world literatures and what those shifts represent in literary studies; and
- Critically investigate representations of identity, race, gender, nation, sexuality and class in literature.
