About

Beth Ann Short has a Masters in Art Therapy from Marylhurst University (1999) and is a board certified Art Therapist with the Art Therapy Credentials Board. She is a member of the American Art Therapy Association and served with ATCB on a committee for five years.

Short worked in community mental health serving youth and families in foster care and also juvenile justice until 2006 when she co-founded the 100th Monkey Studio an open studio providing art therapy, fine art education and Evolve Gallery. The 100th Monkey Studio is home to her private practice and a creative community of artists, clinicians and multiple creative small businesses.

In addition to being an art therapist, Short has also shown her art nationally since the 1990’s. She is active in the art community and continues to exhibit her own painting and mixed media work.
