Binford Writing Scholarship
The Binford Writing Scholarship is available for new students with a strong interest in writing.
Preference is given to community college transfer students and English Literature and Writing majors; other applicants with a strong interest in writing will be considered on a funds-available basis.
Scholarship amounts vary year to year. Typically, they are based on enrollment as follows:
$4,000 per year for full-time enrollment
$3,000 per year for three-quarter-time enrollment
$2,000 per year for half-time enrollment
Awards are renewable up to the equivalent of six full-time terms (Summer term may be included).
Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.00 and complete at least 18 credits per year to remain eligible for renewal.
