Dear Friends,

It is with a strong personal sense of Marylhurst's mission and the values of our founders, the Sisters of the Holy Names, that I ask you to help transform the lives of our students by giving to our annual giving fund. You have the opportunity to help our students through one of the most important journeys of their lives – their education.

Since becoming President of Marylhurst, I have met with many students, alumni, donors and community members and am proud to report that Marylhurst provides a unique educational experience. Approximately 75% of our students attend Marylhurst part-time in order to work and manage family responsibilities. Students of all ages come to us because Marylhurst is their best hope to improve their career prospects and achieve a better life.

Many of our students arrive at our doors with greater financial needs than ever before. To keep tuition as affordable as possible for our students, we have also created the Marylhurst President's Society for donors who make annual contributions of $1,000 or more. These annual gifts will support our areas of greatest need: scholarships, library resources, faculty excellence and technology.
