Last year's theme, A 25 Year Retrospective, focused on the growth and success of the University over the past 25 years. Clark Plaza, a gathering place between BP John and Clark Commons, was dedicated immediately preceding the Annual Awards Dinner. Clark Plaza includes brick pathways, flowering shrubs, trees and tables, creating a beautiful outdoor study and lounge area for students and the Marylhurst community. We would like to thank Mary Clark Frisbee whose generosity has made this exciting space possible.
Retiring President Nancy Wilgenbusch honored five groups integral to Marylhurst’s success in lieu of the traditional awards. Representatives of each group spoke to the progress and continued accomplishments of Marylhurst University, as well as Nancy’s contributions over the past 24 years.
