"When I entered Marylhurst, I remember cringing when the admissions counselor told me that writing at Marylhurst is greatly emphasized. I had not written anything other than grocery lists and personal letters for more than 15 years. My feeling of trepidation was dispelled by the reassurance and encouragement of the top-notch staff, advisors and instructors.
