This is achieved with three critical elements: responsible learners, responsive instructors and flexible curriculum. The Marylhurst MBA program seeks responsible learners disciplined individuals committed to self-improvement, with a desire to make a difference in the world. Marylhursts responsive instructors are working professionals leaders, managers, marketers and entrepreneurs who bring practical, tested business experience to the classroom. They are passionate about their work and have a desire to pass on what they have learned to the next generation of business leaders. They hold students to the highest expectations, and help them meet those expectations with skilled facilitating and coaching. Flexible curriculum blends theory with application, is results-oriented and relevant in today's business surroundings. Core courses and perspective courses Ethical Decision Making, The Global Marketplace and E-Business Strategies provide the groundwork for all MBA graduates. Students choose electives to customize a degree to meet personal and professional goals. Courses are available around the clock: on-campus evenings and weekends, or online 24 hours a day, to meet the needs of students with active lives. Learning OutcomesIn the MBA program, students will: Demonstrate knowledge of current trends and interrelations in accounting, finance, law, organizational behavior, marketing, statistics and strategy; Analyze domestic and global business environments in their economic, legal, cultural and ethical contexts; Understand emerging business concepts, information technology and management trends; Develop an ethical framework for executive decision making and organizational leadership; Gain writing, presentation, critical thinking and collaboration skills; and Identify personal and professional capabilities and competencies and apply these to a career plan. | |||||||
