The Marylhurst MBA Difference

The Marylhurst MBA program is designed to produce successful graduates: confident and competent individuals with strong analytical, speaking and writing skills and an understanding of business as an interrelated process.

This is achieved with three critical elements: responsible learners, responsive instructors and flexible curriculum.

The Marylhurst MBA program seeks responsible learners – disciplined individuals committed to self-improvement, with a desire to make a difference in the world.

Marylhurst’s responsive instructors are working professionals – leaders, managers, marketers and entrepreneurs – who bring practical, tested business experience to the classroom. They are passionate about their work and have a desire to pass on what they have learned to the next generation of business leaders. They hold students to the highest expectations, and help them meet those expectations with skilled facilitating and coaching.

Flexible curriculum blends theory with application, is results-oriented and relevant in today's business surroundings. Core courses and perspective courses – Ethical Decision Making, The Global Marketplace and E-Business Strategies – provide the groundwork for all MBA graduates. Students choose electives to customize a degree to meet personal and professional goals. Courses are available around the clock: on-campus evenings and weekends, or online 24 hours a day, to meet the needs of students with active lives.
