Minor in MusicThe Music Minor is for the person who has an interest in music, but is not a music major. This minor includes the study of the structure of music, aural training, music literature and private and ensemble studies, which is designed to yield a balanced music background. An audition is not required for the minor, unless the student wishes to enroll in 200-level applied lessons. Most of these music classes, except the 100-level applied lessons, would count toward a music major if so desired at a later time. An audition into the degree program would then be required.
