Purchase Cap and Gown

You can reserve your cap and gown and pay for it at the campus store, from April 10, 2015 through the Friday before commencement.

Tassel and Hood Colors

Academic regalia refers to the academic costume worn by graduates at the commencement ceremony. At Marylhurst University, bachelor's regalia consists of a black gown and a black cap with a tassel. The tassel color indicates the specific field of study, as listed below.

Master's candidates also wear a black hood lined with blue and gold, representing Marylhurst University, and faced with the color indicating the specific field of study.
