Cap & Gown
Faculty who wish to participate in the commencement ceremony must wear appropriate
academic regalia. If you do not own regalia, Marylhurst will rent it for you.
Orders for regalia should be placed through the Marylhurst Bookstore by emailing Linda Negrin. If you have not ordered regalia through the bookstore previously, you will need
to include the following information:
- Height & weight
- Cap size
- Highest degree and field of study
- Name, city, and state of the institution granting that degree
Regalia orders must be received by April 22, 2013. Please note that if you do not
have a cap and gown and do not order one before this date, you will not be able to
participate in the processional.
Pick up your regalia at the bookstore anytime between June 4, 2013 and the Friday
before commencement. Return your regalia either at the Oregon Convention Center after
the commencement ceremony has ended or at the bookstore anytime the following week.
If you have any questions about regalia, please contact Linda Negrin at 503.534.4092
or by email.
RSVP by June 1
It is very important to get an accurate count of faculty planning to attend baccalaureate
