John Paul's Film Score Featured in Festival
Dr. John Paul, music department chair, will conduct a live performance of his musical score for the 1930 silent film City Girl at the Astoria Music Festival on June 20, 2013.
Graduates from the previous fall and winter and students who have applied to graduate in spring or summer are eligible and invited to participate, and their names will appear in the commencement program.
The ceremony honors the achievement of students who have completed a bachelor's or master's degree program; no formal ceremony is offered for students completing certificates.
To participate in the ceremony, you must RSVP by June 1.
Note: Although the ceremony is intended to celebrate the accomplishment of current graduates, the following may also participate: graduates who completed a degree at Marylhurst during the previous academic year but did not walk in the commencement ceremony; and students graduating from programs requiring a clinical internship, if they have completed all coursework and have secured an internship agreement by the end of spring term.
