Graduate Department
The Religious Studies Graduate Department offers programs in applied theology, divinity and ministry.
Courses in the master's programs are offered primarily on weekends: Friday evenings, Saturdays during daylight hours and Sunday afternoons, to accommodate your work, spiritual practice and worship schedules.
Degrees
MA in Applied Theology
For those seeking careers in which they can do practical theology, such as spiritual directors and teachers, or chaplains in a medical, governmental or corporate setting.
Master of Divinity
Prepares individuals for similar careers, as well as for ordination. Students meet the requirements of their congregation while taking classes. Graduates may pursue the Doctor of Ministry.
Doctor of Ministry
An advanced professional degree for persons in ministry. Offered through a cooperative agreement with San Francisco Theological Seminary.
