| January 8, 2010 | The AgeLine database has been added to the library's Databases A-Z page. It is available on the popular Ebscohost portal. |
| December 4, 2009 | The Marylhurst Digital Thesis Collection provides digital copies of graduate theses. A master's candidate may complete an opt-in form in order for a thesis to be included in the online collection. |
| October 21, 2009 | The Environment Abstracts database is now available from the library's Databases A-Z page. Environment Abstracts covers publications in environmental impact and policy. |
| September 25, 2009 | An online chat service has been added to Shoen Library's Ask a Libraian web page. The chat service is available 24/7. |
| May 25, 2009 | The Counseling and Therapy in Video database offers actual therapy sessions, re-enacted therapy sessions and scripted scenes to illustrate techniques in counseling. |
| December 5, 2008 | The Summit catalog has changed with a new interface and change in features. |
| October 3, 2008 | The Business Travel Guide provides country overviews including information about local customs, business culture, demographics, and travel warnings for 175 countries. |
| August 1, 2008 | The Business Source database via Ebscohost has been upgraded to include 1000 additional journal titles and industry profiles from Datamonitor. |
| April 1, 2008 | The library's online collection has expanded with the addition of journal titles covering education, public policy and psychology in the JSTOR database. In addition, the PscyINFO database connects to APA journals in full-text. |
| November 2, 2007 | The Communication and Mass Media Complete database has been added to the library's Databases A-Z page. It provides full-text journal articles from over 200 publications. |
| October 15, 2007 | The Kraus Curriculum Development Library has been added to the library's Databases A-Z page. It provides resources for teachers planning lessons. |
| September 20, 2007 | The library now provides access to RefWorks, an online citation management service. Librarians are available to assist with citations and the use of RefWorks. |
| August 17, 2007 | eBooks: The library offers more than 5,000 electronic books from NetLibrary. A featured eBook is available each month. |
| June 19, 2007 | Lost & Found: Shoen Library's Lost & Found is full of floppy disks, flash drives, clothing, binders and other items. Please stop by the circulation desk if you believe that you may have left something in the library. Items left unclaimed for more than a month will be offered to a local charity. |
