Computer LabsShoen Library offers Windows and Apple computers with access to the Internet and printing. Computers are available throughout the library for drop-in use, and there are two labs for instruction. PC Teaching LabThe PC lab accommodates 16 students and includes a teaching station with digital projection. The lab can be reserved by instructors and is available for drop-in use when not reserved for instruction. Design LabThe design lab houses 10 Apple iMac computers with design software Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerCADD for interior design, art, communications and other classes. All workstations have 20-inch displays. The instructor's workstation provides projection to a screen. The lab can be reserved by instructors. Whipple Music RoomThe Whipple Music Room computer lab supports fine arts studies with two PowerMac G4s, one eMac and one PC with video, DVD and MIDI capabilities. Wireless Access for LaptopsShoen Library has WiFi wireless access to the Internet. This service is available from most areas in the library. The library also has Ethernet cables for short-term loan with a plug-in area on the lower level. PrintingBlack & White prints can be made from any of the computers in the library for $.05 a page.
