Shoen Library Mission
Shoen Library supports Marylhurst University and the promotion of lifelong learning by providing equal access for the community to relevant instruction, services and materials in a variety of formats. Library staff offer individualized attention and empower the information seeker with skills which will assist students in their education and beyond. We encourage our students to learn critical thinking through searching and exploring library resources.
Shoen Library assumes an innovative leadership role in technology on campus. Shoen Library values collaboration with faculty to support the intellectual growth of students. Library services are provided by skilled, service-oriented staff who maintain a positive team environment and who stay current in their areas of expertise.
