Host Family Living

In addition to apartments and roommate housing options, international students can also stay with an American family. Host Family Living is only available for international students and is coordinated through Pacific International Academy (PIA). International Student Hostel

The International Student House, owned and operated by HI-Portland, Northwest; is a hostel designed for international students in Portland. In 2003, they branched away from their traditional hostel business and added to their outreach while still keeping with their philosophy of meeting the needs of travelers. They saw a need to provide longer term lodging for the many international students coming to Portland.
