Marylhurst University and the Yellow Ribbon Program

Educational Benefits for Spouses and Dependents

In addition to eligible veterans, spouses and dependents of disabled and fallen service members may be eligible for education benefits. Veterans (certain dependents of veterans, Reservists and Guard members) may be entitled to educational benefits from the Veterans Administration.

Disability Services

Marylhurst University is committed to ensuring that all students have equal access to its academic programs.

Students with disabilities are entitled to reasonable accommodations according to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Accommodations are coordinated through the Marylhurst Accessibility and Disability Services Office. We encourage you to connect with this office if you have questions.

VA Expectations

The VA requires that you maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA in your major to receive educational benefits. Additionally, the VA will not pay for courses taken as audits or courses with W, I, or NP grades. Be sure that you meet these conditions to avoid interruption of benefits.
