Field Notes: Photographs by Dianne Kornberg, 1992 – 2007

A retrospective exhibition for one of the Pacific Northwest's most accomplished photographers, Field Notes comprises nearly 100 of Dianne Kornberg's photographs and is the most comprehensive exhibition of her work to date.

The exhibition includes both gelatin silver prints and pigment inkjet prints. It begins with work from the artist's early Bone Stories series, progresses through her images of comparative-anatomy specimens from Reed College and carefully wrapped butterflies and moths from India, and concludes with her most recent focus on herbarium collections from the University of Washington Laboratories on San Juan Island in Washington state.

Field Notes will travel to the Western Gallery at Western Washington University in April 2008.
