Interior Design Accreditation – Marylhurst Student Achievement
The Marylhurst University B.F.A. in Interior Design program was the first accredited interior design program in Portland, Oregon by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation. CIDA is the national accreditation organization for interior design education, ensuring that our graduates will acquire the skills and knowledge they need to effectively enter the interior design profession.
It is the mission of Marylhurst University’s interior design program to prepare individuals to act with social, environmental and aesthetic responsibility through the design arts.
The following information is provided by Marylhurst University’s Office of Enrollment Management:
- Graduation rates: 25% of the students from the class of 2014 graduated in five years and 8% of the cohort graduated in four years.
- Retention & attrition: 79% of the students enrolled during 2015, graduated in 2016.
