Academic Advising at Marylhurst
Completing a degree is a major commitment and takes dedication. We’re here to help you with several resources to offer advice on how to proceed through your degree program to make sure you stay on track and are moving forward based on your goals.
Annual Schedule of Classes
Marylhurst has an annual schedule of classes, which means you can plan your course schedule a full year in advance. You can see which courses are offered when and if they are offered online, on campus, in the evenings or on the weekends.
The Advising Center provides advising support on all aspects of what it takes to be a successful student. Our advisers assist you with navigating university policies and procedures, selecting courses and troubleshooting any academic difficulties you may encounter.
Stop by and chat with us — appointments and drop-in are available. We are located on the second floor, south end, of the B.P. John Administration Building. Or call us at 503.534.4050 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
School of Business Advising
Marylhurst’s School of Business has dedicated academic advisers for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in any business programs or students pursuing an MBA.
Which classes should you take? When are they offered? Should you take classes in a certain order? We are taking the guess work out of your academic planning. As a helpful resource, we have pathways to degrees for the majority of our programs. These are suggested tracks toward earning your diploma.
If you have any questions or need guidance with your academic planning, please contact the Academic Advising Center or your faculty mentor.
Marylhurst has four academic terms a year (fall, winter, spring and summer) with course registration for each term opening about two-to-three months prior to the start of classes. Visit the Academic Calendar to view all key dates.
