If you’re looking for a job or new career, you know there are four stages. First, do your research on the job market. Second, find opportunities (jobs, internships, volunteering) in your field. Third, polish up your resume. Fourth, get prepared for your interview.
We’ve compiled a variety of job-seeking resources here to help you get started.
Internships expand the learning environment into the workplace. Internships give you the opportunity to directly apply what you’re learning to a real-life situation. An internship may even lead to future employment.
When you’re ready for an internship, do our self-paced Online Internship Program Orientation. Yes, orientation is mandatory, but that’s because we want to ensure your success!
Questions? Contact our internship coordinator in Career Services, 503.699.6271 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

This handbook applies to most Marylhurst internships and practicums. Interior design, art therapy counseling, education and music therapy students will receive internship information from their academic advisers.

We’re happy to host a career fair (for employers recruiting employee candidates) information sessions on our campus, weekdays between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. This is the best time for our students, between their daytime activities and their evening classes.
