Job-seeking Skills

If you’re looking for a job or new career, you know there are four stages. First, do your research on the job market. Second, find opportunities (jobs, internships, volunteering) in your field. Third, polish up your resume. Fourth, get prepared for your interview.

We’ve compiled a variety of job-seeking resources here to help you get started.

Internship Program

Internships expand the learning environment into the workplace. Internships give you the opportunity to directly apply what you’re learning to a real-life situation. An internship may even lead to future employment.

When you’re ready for an internship, review the Marylhurst University Internship Handbook. Once you’re familiar with our internship guidelines, take our short internship quiz. Yes, completing the online quiz is mandatory, but that’s because we want to ensure your success!
