So that you can login to many systems with one name and password, we've established the Marylhurst One Account. Activate and manage your Marylhurst One Account at accounts.marylhurst.edu. With your Marylhurst One Account, you can access:
Google Apps for Education including your @marylhurst.edu email, Google drive and Google sites
Computer Labs alternate login: Guest User and no password
Classroom computers alternate login: .Guest and no password
Zoom: web conferencing
Canvas: online courses
My Marylhurst alternate login: student ID and password (click “Don’t know my password” to reset)
Microsoft Office 365: for your personal use

Email Access your email at mail.marylhurst.edu.
All official Marylhurst electronic correspondence is sent to your @marylhurst email account. Check it regularly for important communications. (For academic and confidentiality reasons, email accounts are for individual use only and should not be shared.) If you like, you can forward your @marylhurst email to a personal email account. Note: students and faculty in certain programs, such as Art Therapy Counseling and Music Therapy, are governed by HIPAA regulations that impose extra restrictions, including no forwarding of email.
Google Apps Google Apps for Education is a suite of applications in three sets:
Core Apps Gmail, Calendars, Drive (Google Docs), Sites, Groups, and Hangouts. Marylhurst has a special agreement with Google: all data within these apps is owned by Marylhurst University and not indexed by Google. And they're ad-free!
Non-Core Apps, such as YouTube, Google+ and Google Maps, have separate Terms and Conditions, the same as a personal Google account, not managed by Marylhurst. These apps often connect to social networking and may not have the same privacy protection as the Core Apps. We believe these apps are generally safe and want you to use them appropriately in your educational pursuits -- thought you are responsible for monitoring privacy in Non-Core Apps. And we do not provide technical support for Non-Core Apps. Sorry!
Third-Party Apps Not created or operated by Google. When using a third-party app, you are making an agreement directly with the creator of the app, and you're responsible for privacy and support for third-party apps.
Connecting other sites to your Marylhurst Google account Often other apps and services request connection to your Google account, usually as a method for logging in and account creation. There is some risk — if that app goes haywire and corrupts your account, the only option might be to delete your account (and all your email with it)! Connecting services to your Marylhurst Google account is generally safe -- but it's up to you to manage your risk and privacy.

Canvas – Learning Management System (LMS)

Active students, staff and faculty at Marylhurst have free access to Microsoft Office.
All you need to do is login to Office 365 using your Marylhurst One Account (your @marylhurst email address and password).

My Marylhurst is a portal for conducting student business such as registering and paying for classes, viewing grades and transcripts, and connecting with other Marylhurst students in discussion forums.

Marylhurst supports two tools for real-time collaboration (web conferencing).
Recommended for virtual get-togethers with 15 or fewer participants. It's free and included with your Google Apps account. Also, be sure to check out Google Hangouts on Air, a way to easily record your sessions to YouTube!
You have free access to a basic version of Zoom -- all the features as the pro version, but with a time limit of 40 minutes. Zoom is a great tool and provides a permanent URL for your "virtual office." People find Zoom very easy to use, and it's a snap to make recordings and share your desktop. Zoom also offers easy tie into telephone conferencing (so people don't have to be on a computer). And Zoom can host up to 100 participants!
