Science Careers: What Career Paths Do You Have with a B.A. in Science
Marylhurst’s science graduates are able to pursue a variety of science-related career fields in environmental education, natural resource management, science teaching, writing, and environmental planning. Many of our graduates have gone to work in organizations that need people with a broad-based understanding of science, such as engineering firms and utilities.
Based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics, environmental science careers are expected to grow by 11 percent in the next decade. Beyond that, new “green jobs” and career fields continue to be created as the professional world focuses on sustainable practices.
