As a graduate of Marylhurst’s M.A. in Applied Pastoral Theology program, you will find yourself highly employable within the field of pastoral care as the majority of program graduates secure jobs in their chosen field within a year of earning their degree. Pastoral care careers are diverse. Graduates of the Marylhurst program are prepared to pursue successful pastoral care careers as ethicists in ethics centers; ministers or religious educators in churches, synagogues and other places of worship; teachers in K-12 schools, colleges and seminaries; and chaplains in hospitals, hospice centers, corrections facilities, retirement centers, corporations, universities and military bases.
