Originally from Ireland, Ger Killeen was educated at University College, Dublin, and Birkbeck College of The University of London. He has taught Irish Literature, Poetry, Creative Writing, and Literary Theory at Marylhurst since 1998.

Ger’s work has been widely published in journals and magazines both in the US and abroad including: American Poetry Review, Poetry Ireland Review, Cyphers, Green Integer Review, Elohi Gadugi Journal, Oregon Coast Magazine, Portland Review, Hubbub, The Oregonian, Free Verse, The Ogham Stone, Knockout Literary Magazine, NAACLT Journal, and many more.
