Marylhurst faculty member Greg Crosby leads workshops on Practicing Law with ADD for the Oregon Attorney Assistance Program in September 2016.
Greg Crosby will co-facilitate Practicing Law with ADD in Salem on Sept. 22-23, 2016. This is the same workshop offered by OAAP in Eugene-Springfield earlier in September.
In this workshop, Crosby introduces participants to the brain science of ADD/ADHD and how unmanaged ADD/ADHD affects functioning at work. Workshop participants learn how to integrate planning and organizing into a law practice, tailoring planning tools to their specific needs; how to develop cognitive skills to help develop an objective perspective and reduce reactivity when under stress; and how to utilize stress management tools for improving ADD/ADHD. Participants also complete the Rogers Indicator for Multiple Intelligences to understand their individual learning style.
The Oregon Attorney Assistance Program sponsors a number of free or low-cost workshops for Oregon lawyers and judges. Early registration is encouraged.
Greg Crosby teaches in the art therapy counseling, human studies, psychology and social sciences programs at Marylhurst University. He will teach a weekend workshop, Interpersonal Neurobiology of ADD/ADHD, at Marylhurst University in October 2016.
