Irene Doukas Behrman is working toward her bachelor’s degree at Marylhurst University, studying creative writing and culture and media. She is the co-founder of Pom Pom, an online journal of poetry and prose. Her nonfiction piece “A Woman Named M” was awarded an honorable mention in the 84th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition.
