Jennifer Barlow, MBA alum, was named director of health homes and care management for the Children’s Home of Jefferson County in Watertown, NY, in December 2015.
In her new role, Jennifer Barlow is responsible for managing the execution of agency policies, procedures, practices and standards within the organization’s Community Mental Health Services and Health Home Care Management programs.
Previously, Barlow was practice manager for The Polyclinic, a practice specializing in family, internal and pediatric medicine.
The Children’s Home of Jefferson County began as 1859 as the Watertown Home for Destitute and Friendless Orphans and Children. In 1972, the home transitioned into a residential treatment facility. Today, the Children’s Home of Jefferson County serves not only children, but adults and families, through community-based programs including delinquency prevention, foster care and casework services for special populations.
Jennifer Barlow earned an MBA with a concentration in nonprofit management from Marylhurst University in 2013. She was named by NNY Business Magazine as a “20 under 40” emerging business leader in 2016, recognized for making an impact as a rising star in her profession and community.
