MBA alum Raejeanne Skillern gave the keynote address at the 2016 Cloud Expo in Silicon Valley.
On the second day of Cloud Expo 2016, Raejeanne Skillern, Intel vice president and general manager, joined Mercer Rowe, IBM vice president for the keynote address. Skillern and Rowe talked about how clients can integrate data, technology and human ingenuity to advance business through added value and increased opportunities.
Among other topics, Skillern and Rowe explained how services now performed in the cloud use IBM Watson’s building blocks for speech, vision and data to answer customers’ questions, extract key information from documents, and reveal insights, patterns and relationships across data.
Cloud Expo brings together technology providers and organizations to discuss the world of cloud computing, including Internet of Things, Big Data, FinTech, cognitive computing, microservices, DevOps, WebRTC and digital transformation.
Raejeanne Skillern is vice president in the Data Center Group and general manager of the Cloud Service Provider Platform Group at Intel Corporation. She manages Intel’s business, roadmap and customer engagements for public cloud infrastructure deployments and leads the team responsible for working closely with the world’s largest cloud service providers to optimize Intel’s data center solutions for their unique needs. Skillern earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science from Pepperdine University and an MBA from Marylhurst University in 1999.
